Hartle-Hawking-Hertog
I have been following this work since around 2006.
I heard Hawking speak to us in 1974, when Jim Hartle invited him to Santa Barbara (UCSB). Hawking explained to us the effect, that now bears his name. I've never met Hertog.
At UCSB during an elevator talk, Jim asked me where I was coming from in Mexico, I told him, from CINVESTAV, and he said: Plebanski is there, right?
Unfortunately I did not work with Jerzy, he was in Poland while I was at CINVESTAV, and then in 1973 I decided to go to Santa Barbara, when he came back to Mexico. I did interact with Jerzy when I went back to Mexico. What impressed Jim, and me, is the dare with which Jerzy, complexified General Relativity.
Now HHH use this complex spacetime, even with more elaborate string theory ingredients.
I just hope I start to make some money, so I can more seriously look at the work of these gentlemen.

Lessons Learned
If I get another job in the US. This time I'll keep it.
One could make the case of causes beyond our control. I am thinking on what I can do differently than before. Life is experience, I do not have much time left. Definitely not other 62 years!

Fundamental and Applied Physics and Mathematics
SystemModeler makes it easy to develop detailed, realistic models in any industry or application area. A core set of physical and logical components is built-in, and custom libraries can be developed to represent the key elements and processes in any domain. Modeling, simulation, visualization, and analysis with Mathematica are tightly integrated, dramatically reducing development time.
SystemModeler
I have a problem distinguishing the fundamental from the applied. Both are knowledge, I start with a classification.
Fundamental:
Mechanics (Classical, Statistical, Quantum)
Electrodynamics
Gravitation
Nuclear (Strong, Weak)
Applied:
Engineering
Civil
Material
Electrical
My problem is with Mathematics, and more precisely Computer Science.
I believe there is Fundamental Computer Science, and it is not only Mathematics.
Today Wolfram Research announced a new entity, (below).
Stephen Wolfram mystifies me.

Automatic
I recently visited a good friend. He showed me his latest development in automation. Soon I will go see the actual laboratory where his work resides. I believe the Information Era, crucially depends on Automation.
My friend invented Robust Process Automation, or RPA for short.
He carefully observed how he did his work, then with similar attention wrote scripts to automate what he did. Soon, his workmates were impressed with his speed on their type of job. They asked for the code, and he graciously complied. The rest is history.
I believe I can do the same for math and science learning.
I learned calculus when I was sixteen. I first taught science when I was twenty, and I am over sixty now. I can do for education, what my friend did for Software Engineering.
To do this, I need to understand Information well.
When I stop worrying so much about money, I will dedicate more time, to finally make my mark on this Earth.

Curved Path
Professor Bejan discovered the Constructal Law. Flow eases flow. The first time around whatever moves changes the region, afterwards similar objects will move easier on that constructed path. He has been able to design heat flow systems for electronic circuits, with this idea.
Newton, in 1666, during the English Great Plague, imagined that constant velocity is easy, change requires an external agent. Circular motion is real motion, constant velocity motion is equivalent to rest.
A curved path, if taken, according to Newton, is due to something in the region. For the case of the Earth around the Sun, the region was filled with a mysterious field of action at a distance. In 1916, Einstein explained what was the change; space was curved.
To me this sounds like the same thing, but neither professor Bejan nor I, have written the variational principle that encodes the Constructal Law, to compare it, with Einstein's Curvature Law.
Prior flow, makes future flow easier.
We need two times, even if infinitesimally close, and a comparison of the space regions, to make the second easier for motion than the first. Einstein's and Newton's mathematics are second order in time, therefore past and future are equivalent; contrariwise, Bejan's idea postulates an arrow of time.
Work in progress.

Sir Paul in "El Zocalo"

Pepper in "El Zocalo"
Collective ecstasy during the night Sir Paul shouted, Viva Mexico, bastards! Hundreds of thousands waited for hours to witness a historic concert
Friday May 11, 2012, p. 2
Paul McCartney last night in the Zocalo detonated a bomb that caused about 200 thousand people, according to estimates by the Federal District, an explosion of euphoria.
Abstract and metaphysical act was through music in a historical and momentous concert that lasted three hours.
The consequence of this encounter between a great musician and the audience was that indescribable joy crowded.
The former Beatle music transgressed the boundaries of time and dimension, in a gala celebration that became popular for the capital ... and the province that made the trip to the city and endured days to be trained to the front.
Others were formed hours and remained without food or drinking water (although in some areas of liquid drink, placed on 60 000 plastic bags, according to Tourism officials said, was sold at 50 pesos).
The meeting yesterday was an exciting, that only music can do, worthy of the irrational logic of the heart that is between one (or few) transmitters and thousands of receptors, which develop codes made up of musical notes and chords as well as with texts that narrate a few minutes the simple essence of being.
It's great to be with you in the Zocalo for free. Viva Mexico, bastards , McCartney said at different times, and created a Golem screams high decibel showed that the phenomenon of the Beatles is endless, you just might have ended when love, heartbreak, happiness and sadness and feelings are not, they agreed Felipe, septuagenarian, and Carlos, 25. The two met more than 14 hours standing in an area of one square meter of which did not move until it heard All My Loving , Let me roll it , drive my car or Here today (the former Beatle dedicated it to my friend John .)
The thousands of attendees never imagined that free listen to one quarter (or more) of the Beatles, and almost five decades later that could have occurred in Mexico City in the football stadium of the Sports City. The memory is that in 1965 when the movie A Hard Day's Night was released , the then ruler of the Federal District, Ernesto Uruchurtu, said the British band was a bad example for youth, and that Mexico City was not prepared for such events.
But now the local government could hang on a tour through the On The Run , winning the Yucatan, McCartney wanted to Chichen Itza, and gave the defeños the pleasure of living and reliving the nostalgia of the sixties Liverpool quartet.
This time there was no long hair, although dehydrated, faint, confused, or symbols of love and peace, or teenagers who go crazy for long sideburns of the members of the quartet.
Now, 20 years young at heart and were part of the excitement caused by the barrage group sound pieces that are part of the personal collection of millions of people worldwide.
It seemed inexplicable that young people aged 20 years or less so intensely follow the former Beatle as if it were Justin Bieber. Small, medium and large took phones and lighters to form a sea of fireflies in English thanks to his band.
They came from all parts of the city, every corner, every house in which insurance over a Beatles record has sounded. With a small lunch, a blanket, with clothes that gave off the odor peculiar to no change in days ... All to witness to that pillar of contemporary music, which continues to produce joy with his songs, whose tones are enough to trigger communal madness.
Hours and hours of waiting, boredom and catharsis, expressed under any pretext, such as when he heard a "fuck you" high due to a banner in support of Enrique Peña Nieto was exhibited in the windows of the buildings (the National Palace Government and the Federal District were filled with members of the low, medium and high bureaucracy).
The banner was removed, shouting: AMLO AMLO!
My valentine, The long and winding road, Saving Changes, Maybe I'm Amazed, Something (dedicated to George Harrison), Ob-la-di, ob-la-da (accompanied by mariachi) were some pieces that gave Paul and which had also been heard in Guadalajara and in the Azteca stadium.
Everyone won. Who also made a killing by selling any kind of products alluding to the British band and McCartney.
Sir means lord, and in England is a title of honor for those that are relevant in social terms. Sir Paul was named some years ago by the Queen of England, but for commoners gathered in the Zocalo was not necessary that name because it gave his music since he first appeared in pubs (bars) of Liverpool.
McCartney, co-authored with John Lennon, the most emblematic "rolas" of the Beatles, followed intense playing with such creations as simple in its text and continue injecting harmony of love, heartbreak and joy to generation after generation.
In Chilango English , the verses were followed by the crowd. One after another followed rolas transformed tastes, looks and attitudes, in an act of appreciation multigenerational.
Beatlemania is not dead and neither shall it is a lifestyle and a way to reflect in some way, good taste of popular music. And that was observed in all areas of the first frame, impregnated by the figure not only Paul, but John, Ringo and George, image reproduced in men over sixty years, they never imagined attend free of charge to one of their idols.
The influence of the Beatles is still tangible in their Mexican fans-and the world-and it showed. Rather than appreciate the music, many historical figure reminded that years of plenty.
The pleasure was also for the Englishman, who could not hide the surprise of seeing so many people gathered and feel the energy from the navel of the moon, on a night that did not fail to congratulate the mothers of Mexico, which gave Hope of deliverance .
They came over the jukebox "rolas" were more spectacular view of memory in many years.

Reality
From some of my notes, one may get the impression that I will not be hired as a teacher soon. There is no way to know the future. This note, states reality, as I see it right now, so I can go forward.
It is not a plus that I was not hired back at two high schools. If I was hiring, that will be a minus. On the other hand I will give the opportunity to such a person to present his point of view.
School for me was easy, the high school students were not trying hard as I saw it, and I was not trained to help them more than I did. This time around, I will definitely be more sensitive at learning differences. I taught college in Mexico. There, if you do not study, you are out. No professor is not hired back because students fail. These were news for me. Now I know better; students have more help and resources here, it has to work, and department heads and school administrators expect few students failing.
I recently read, "Why Nations Fail," by professors Daron Acemoglu, and James Robinson, they identify what they call Inclusive Institutions, both Economical and Political, that produce success. As it happens, most countries of the world, including my own, have Extractive Institutions. Man is the wolf of man kind of thing. It is not that some cultures are good, and some bad, that is a self serving view, where "my" people are the good ones. The issue is historic, Jamestown, Virginia, started a new civilization, because the Europeans moving there, could not extract a living from Americans, nor silver and gold from the land. Mexico, Tenochtitlan, is a completely different story. Hernan Cortes defeated Cuahtemoc, and inherited his slaves, his silver and his gold. As simple as that. Since that August 13, 1521, when Cortes won, Mexico Tenochtitlan has not seen the light of day.
I cannot pay for the sins of my ancestors, I am Spanish-Mexican, no Aztec here, but my employers should give me a break, I will try everybody fairly, whether they have a Logical-Mathematical mind like myself, or not.

Logical-mathematical
This area has to do with logic, abstractions, reasoning and numbers and critical thinking. While it is often assumed that those with this intelligence naturally excel in mathematics, chess, computer programming and other logical or numerical activities, a more accurate definition places less emphasis on traditional mathematical ability and more on reasoning capabilities, recognizing abstract patterns, scientific thinking and investigation and the ability to perform complex calculations.[citation needed] Logical reasoning is closely linked to fluid intelligence and to general ability.[6]
Know Thyself
While applying to another high school position, I came to a daunting question. Why were you not rehired?
Dumbstruck, I just wrote, the supervisor decided that.
In another question, on my student teaching training, I wrote that I got an A. Now I remember that they called me to the office, because my reports were late. Memories came back. I did not think it was important, but they thought so. I might've gotten a lower grade, I do not remember now.
Why am I applying to jobs, for which two previous supervisors, decided not to rehire me?
During my years of research in other institutions, I did not identify with the work my peers were doing; I wanted something more.
Now I watch my son's movie (below), where the President of the Academy, dies of old age, but Lev says, "very likely died because he just saw the best movie he ever saw, and thus was ready to die."
Is there a message here?

The Information Age has Reached Academia
At the Escuela Superior de Ingeniería Mecánica y Eléctrica, ESIME for short, I got introduced to Control Theory. Equally important were Computer Science, and Communication Theory. I decided to study Physics to become a scientist, as opposed to an engineer. I finally got my PhD in Theoretical Physics at the University of California at Santa Barbara, UCSB. After forty or so years, I finally have an idea that could be useful.
Recently Marc Andreessen predicted that the next big thing will be software.
I believe we can automate some important parts of the teaching-learning process.
At Lucent together with Steve Plovich, and the creator, Joe Lennert, we patented a method to automatize software engineering processes, Joe called it, Robust Process Automation. I think we can use Joe's discovery to automate some processes I have used for over forty years now, to learn and teach mathematics and science. To accomplish this, I need a principle, the one I plan to use is called the Constructal Law, by its creator, professor Adrian Bejan, from Duke University.
Andreessen prediction is based on the observation, that the Internet put us, right on top, of the Information Age. Another thinker relevant for this note is Stephen Wolfram, with his "A New Kind of Science" proposal, which you can read in his book, which is free online.
In a nutshell, Information is a set of marks, used to guide motion. Professor Bejan, states that flow is such, to make flow easier, next time around. As the great Spanish poet, Antonio Machado, put it, Se Hace Camino al Andar, The Path Pursued.
"Wanderer, your footsteps are
In the same way, flows facilitate future flows, and I will say that, that is how anything moves. According to Einstein, matter curves space, and the curvature directs matter's motion.
In this context, the role of software in the learning process, is to facilitate future learning. Making waves of knowledge between novice and expert.
What I need now, is actual software to give to facilitators of this new teaching method.

the road is made by walking.
By walking one makes the road,

one sees the path
