I have a problem distinguishing the fundamental from the applied. Both are knowledge, I start with a classification.
Fundamental:
Mechanics (Classical, Statistical, Quantum)
Electrodynamics
Gravitation
Nuclear (Strong, Weak)
Applied:
Engineering
Civil
Material
Electrical
My problem is with Mathematics, and more precisely Computer Science.
I believe there is Fundamental Computer Science, and it is not only Mathematics.

Stephen Wolfram mystifies me.
